This place would be quite small during normal times but now its even worse. What genius came up with the idea of moving the Post Office to a location with 75% less space during a pandemic. Plus the shop staff dont seem very interested in customer service. Downgrade from the original store.

This NEW Post Office is the worst I have ever used - tiny and poorly managed. The new operators should be ashamed. A huge downgrade from the old one in the Co-op.

The New post office, draconian Customer Service. Every time Ive been to this post office the experience has been terrible. my first experience of the store since it moved was the owner of the franchise forcing a disabled woman to walk around the shop to queue for a counter that is right next to the door. ( He actually told her I don't care if your disabled please leave the shop if you wont follow our rules.) Every time I go into the shop there is a massive queue with 4 counters that are only ever staffed by one person. It actually feels like this shop is mocking and holding us,the customer in contempt. I've started going out of my way to drive to Cannock to avoid this now as I feel it shouldn't get any business. The post office really need to investigate who takes up their franchises as it really will tarnish their name in Hednesford. As with everything going on at the moment I expect the official statement will start with "The reason for poor customer service is due to covid."

I am updating my last post to say the coop building has a chemist and post office inside they have always given me good service in the past.
