A fantastic site with great facilities. Our Bell Tent for 4 was like a tardis. 1 comfortable futon and 2 extra beds for the children with room to spare!! The kitchen and dining was a great set up too. Along with friendly farm life all around.

The most amazing camp site with beautiful tents with the comfiest bed. The facilities are amazing...so much to keep everyone, especially kids, entertained what ever the weather. The staff go above and beyond to help and make sure should have everything you need. Thanks Canvas Hamlet for a super stay!

Stayed in the Shepard's Hut, it was really a beautiful little place. We were provided with towels, bedding, the shower in the summer was a godsend and enough room to make whatever you want in the kitchen. Full oven, 2 induction hobs, good sized fridge. Comfortable bed. 2 comfy chairs with a raising fold out table. Car park was easy to find and on arrival James was waiting for us with the key. Inside we found bread, coffee, tea, and milk, butter and jam in the fridge. Fresh towels on the bed etc. Location on site was between a tent and toilets, but not near enough to either for them to bother us. Spent the mornings eating breakfast on the decked patio at the table and chairs provided, and walked into Chirk and around the woodland during the days, drove to Chirk castle and Bala Lake (about 20 mins and an hour away respectively) came home and either had a few drinks in Chirk before walking back or relaxing on the deck. A fire pit was available but due to the heat during our visit not used. James said they would provide fire wood if required, but again I didn't make use of this facility. Will definitely go back.
