Great decor and friendly staff. Plenty of car parking and large beer garden in a safe position from vehicles. Pleasantly surprised by choice of drinks since refurb - just a shame prices are not reflected in being in a village location. Friends have stopped over and commented positively too.

Visited teatime with the family. Comfortable surroundings with a good selection of lagers but only one bitter on drought which was only moan. A couple of us had cod, chips and mushy peas. Decent size portion with was a large cod perfectly cooked and beautifully flakey . Other meals included a massive burger and a small(by choice) gammon seak which my wife said was really tasty and finally a child's macaroni cheese which again was a good portion and tasty. 2 x children's waffles with maples syrup, mixed berries and ice cream. Again good sized portions and delicious. Pleasant and efficient staff. Whilst reasonably busy, I'm surprised the place wasn't packed with the pleasant surroundings and excellent value for money fare. I will definitely call again here for food when in the area. Well done to all at the Wynnstay Arms.

Wonderful place. Newly renovated and done very tastefully. They did not lose the old-world charm of this 19th century building. Very clean and GREAT staff!! Menu limited..due to Covid...but food generally good.

My room was clean, warm and comfortable, what more can you ask for. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and all the covid precautions were most reassuring. There was lots of things to choose from both on the breakfast menu and the dinner menu. I would highly recommend all the food. I stayed for four nights and everyday the food was served promptly and it tasted delicious. Thank you.
