I’ve never felt the need to write a negative complaint until visiting this Post Office today. The lady who works here is shockingly rude for no reason what so ever. I was very polite so there was no need for her to speak to me the way she did. I’ve heard many people comment about her attitude but I was in the area and thought 1 parcel would not be a problem. I will never use this Post Office again and will be advising others to go else where too. I’ve also sent an email to the Post Office complaints team.

I look forward to popping in to see Mary for essentials like bread, milk, tobacco and a natter. Whenever I'm in the village I try to visit. Some of the comments on here are just rude and I think often people should stop and take time to reflect; why am I so defensive?! Mary doesn't suffer fools and I wouldn't either, she's great. It's a nice little local shop and it's nice to pop in to say, Hi Mary :)

Recently went into the post office and as it's currently a pandemic I had my mask on which we all have to do at the moment. I asked the women in the shop why she didn't have a mask and she shouted at me saying I'll do what I like, this is my shop and then refused to serve me telling me to go to Llantwit. I couldn't believe the way she acted when I was only curious due to the fact she's an older lady who really should be more aware since the older are the most vulnerable to this virus. It's not one rule for one, one rule for another. What made it worse is when I was walking out there was an older lady coming in with no mask on and when the lady seen me she put the collar of her top over her nose. unbelievable really! A lot of people on the Wick hub have told me to avoid this post office due to her attitude and the way she makes people feel. I feel like writing to the council about what happened as she is clearly taken the law into her own hands and not following government guidelines.

Mary the women in the shop is rude constantly. You have to be careful what you say otherwise she'll chop you down. She has out of date stock and charges what she wants that's why she doesn't advertise prices. She's ruining the post office brand and needs a change of hands. As she is the only shop in the village she is allowed to monopolise this. If another shop pops up people will definitely go elsewhere. Post office need to send someone undercover to check her. They'll see what I'm saying is true. The majority of the village feels this way. Looks to me as she gave herself 5 stars or one of her friends. Horrible women who shouldn't be running a shop.

I didn’t even want to give 1 star, but here we go. I rarely review but this was something else. I wanted to return an ASOS package and the post office by me was shut so I went to this one in WIck. I walked in and asked if the the post office was open the woman said “well look at the sign.” I thought nothing of this and continued to try and post my package. I told the woman that she needed to scan my phone for a a return label, she told me “I work at the post office, not you.” I started to feel a little uncomfortable at this point but persevered . She brought out instructions to then tell me she needed to scan my phone, which I had already said but there we are...My phone wouldn’t load and she said “how would you feel now if three people were behind you, you’re lucky you’re not in llanwit.” I decided at this point to take my package else where. What a rude lady.
