Very good fishery. The owner - Paul Cook is very friendly and he has made it a nice accessible place to fish. You can drive around the lakes and park near to, or behind your peg. There are a lot of nice fish in both lakes including carp roach and skimmers. My favourite is Trotters but I've had good catches on there and Gils. I'll be returning soon!

Its ok. Nothing big coming out. Now and then see dead fish going by. Shame they closed cafe. A lot of matches, so pick your days. I have found a lot of line with hooks just dumped. But the owner is a nice guy. He has done a lot of work. As i say ,too many matches. Fish shy away.

Fished here for the first time on Saturday 26th September 2020. Really cold day wind blowing a hooley fished in a pairs match caught a few but cold days /nights before hand knocked the fish back. Paul the owner was very helpful with advice on pegging out good to meet him and really friendly will definitely be back again lovely fishery.

Great spot, just don't open early enough, and seems to be aimed solely at match fishing.
