A real home from home. Warm & welcoming. A beautiful spot and great for wildlife spotting. So relaxing & peaceful. Definitely coming back!
We stayed here for 2 nights a few years ago and returned in August for 3 nights. It was not only as good as we remembered it but better. We still had the same warm welcome from Gill and the cottage was agin immaculately clean. In my last review I marked it down very slightly for being a bit dated but clearly money has been spent here. There is a lovely new kitchen and bathroom and the bedrooms have all been upgraded. To top it all there is now good Wifi and I had a phone signal as well!
As before Gill was very helpful with directions, suggestions, ideas so with her around we didn't really need Google!!
This is just a lovely, quiet escape and we highly recommend it.

When I come to England 2 years ago I always tell my friends that the scenery is best in Spain so they took me for a holiday in Scotland. We were 4 people and we stay with Gill at her lovely cottage for 2 nights. It is perfect.
We have a wonderful welcome from the owner and she even made us some nice galettas as a welcome. The house was very good and everything is new and fresh. We even managed to have a barbecue one night.
Gill telled us to go to the hotel in Craigellachie to try the whisky. I have never seen so much whisky!! She also gave us some very good ideas for places to visit.
We suggest this place to you as it is so perfect and beautiful. We will come on another time.

very very nice cottage, nice contact with the owner, very clean and well-kept, well-equipped kitchen. WiFi available, otherwise no cell phone network. Quiet location of the cottages and Dufftown in 15m by car.
