We had a brilliant stay at The Milking Sheds in mid-October. The cottage itself was fantastic and in a great location. It was spotless, warm and extremely comfortable with plenty of space for us to enjoy our long weekend.
Louise and James contacted us beforehand with a stack of information on the area and ideas of things to do/places to go so we were able to plan our trip accordingly. They also had all the essentials waiting for us so we could get the kettle on :) The local shops and takeaways are literally a minute or two away from their location. It was nice being able to walk to them and see the town.
We honestly couldn't recommend The Milking Sheds enough. We've booked again already for next year and we're really looking forward to it.
We recently spent a weekend at the Milking Sheds and I cannot recommend them enough. They are cosy, tastefully decorated and have everything you need and more. The hosts did everything they could to make our stay perfect with recommendations of things to do and see and places to eat. Thank you Louise and James, We would definitely go back again.
Just back from a four night stay at Ben Shea and I'm already looking at another stay for next year! Louise and James are really caring and accommodating hosts, who cannot do enough for their guests.
Ben Shea is a beautiful, high-tech home with luxurious furnishings (best nights sleep ever!) and all the amenities needed for a group stay upto 6 people. The location was perfect for all local attractions and for just having food/drink options too.
I highly recommend Speyside Cottages and will definitely be staying there again soon! 5*
Just returned from a week in Wee Kalf 1. The cottage is ideal for a couple, very comfortable and spotless. Located in the centre of Dufftown yet quiet and peaceful. Pleasant walks from the cottage and well located to explore further afield by car. Autumn colours were beautiful. We look forward to a return visit.
Immaculate cottage in the heart of Dufftown. We stayed at Ben Shea Smart Home in August 2020. The cottage was fantastic and had everything we needed for a relaxed and luxurious holiday. Would recommend to anyone looking to explore this beautiful part of Scotland.
