First and last time! Got the drinks wrong one of two. Ordered new potatoes but got chips then I was told they had none after meal was served. But they were available 30 min. later to another table? The food we had was good .

A proper pub no TV,s people talk to each other a good mix of friendly people of all ages good beer and food open fire in Winter

Anybody staying in the welshpool area would be advised to visit Lion hotel if looking for good food. Visited last Saturday for meal with friends and wasn't dissapointed had a great meal the food was gorgeous and plentiful service was good and freindly staff were eager to please. It wasn't expensive either. Good local pubs like this should be applauded 👍
