Amazing place with a large room, in a beautiful part of Wales. My hosts were extremely kind, funny and knowledgeable about the area. Made a great recommendation for dinner, which was a short drive from the property. Had a great nights sleep, followed by an amazing full English breakfast in the morning......I would definitely stay here again!!
Had a wonderful stay in Woodpecker room at Bron Hafren! 5 stars all round - comfortable, clean and homley. Beautiful garden, and right on the river Severn. Lovely view of fields too. Debbie is a great host and wonderfully accommodating. Cannot recommend this B&B enough!
Beautiful setting, very clean, comfortable rooms. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend.
My second stay at this lovely B and B and just as good as my first with charming hosts Debbie and Rod. Only change being they now have an extra field running along the river bank which provides more fishing.......my usual reason for visiting the area!. This part of wales is an unhurried sort of place with some quaint little villages and hamlets and situated between the slightly larger market towns of Welshpool and Newtown. Shrewsbury and Aberystwyth are reachable by train from Welshpool station. This visit spotted the kingfishers, kites and even a white egret along the banks of the Severn . Would be nice to bring my wife but then i would have to sacrifice some fishing time.
