PRINT YOUR OWN LABELS this post office overcharges you and doesn’t ask you what you want before you give your parcel to them. I asked for an item to be posted, 1.976kg and within the dimensions of second class shipping requirements. The cashier mumbled something about “11”, so I responded by saying “the item is worth £20”.. insinuating that he clarify what he meant by “11”. When asked what the cost of the item was, it was £11, first class and signed for. I agree that the price of this service is £11, but I wasn’t asked what service I wanted in the first place. eBay recommends £4.10 for an item of this weight and dimension. I asked “is it too late to cancel?” The cashier said it was too late to cancel. I then said I disagree with the price and I want my parcel back, he began taking the labels off (so obviously, it wasn’t too late). Not only do they overcharge, but they try their luck with customers too.
