Had a great stay. Cannot fault it. Had a lovely room with a bath and boiling hot water which was lovely. Stayed 5 nights. Staff very friendly and nothing too much trouble.
Was able to borrow a hair dryer as i had forgotten to bring one. I felt that if i had left anything, they would have found one for me.
Many thanks 10/10.
Loved it. Very comfortable stay had by myself and 2 kids. Would highly recommend for economical but high standard of accommodation and service.
I would class this hotel as cheap and cheerful. Don't be expecting luxury. But for the price the accommodation represents outstanding value in my opinion. The rooms are functional for a short stay (particularly for the single traveller. The staff are very friendly and helpful although it's true that ocassionally it can take a few minutes to find them as the front desk is not permanently manned.
Carpark has room for around 25 cars, was full at nights but it's not a massive hotel only 3 floors so enough spaces for everyone.
Retail park nearby with KFC, McDonald's, Asda etc. There is a Frankie and Benny's next door but it looks abandoned and is not open.
Masks are required in the hotel until you get to your room.
The reviews on trip advisor about hearing people through the ceiling are correct - you can hear people walking around. It's a Travelodge though. If you're expecting a 5 star hotel you're in the wrong place.
Friendly check in staff. Plenty of space in the free car park. No problem getting extra tea bags and milk from reception. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. Not 5 stars because we could hear road noise from our room. It was a bit too warm for us but we couldn't ooen the window because of the traffic noise. We like the noon checkout policy of Travelodges because it means there's no need to rush.
