I have just celebrated my 70th birthday with my family at House of Craigie. There were 12 adults and 6 children in my group and the house was the perfect size for us. The house is very comfortable, set in a lovely accessible location with beautiful rural views.
Karen, the owner, was very helpful from beginning to end. She was approachable and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble when I had a query or request. We all had a wonderful, relaxing weekend with the swimming pool being a big hit with the children. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending House of Craigie as the perfect location for a private party.

I was there for 3 nights at the beginning of January for a friend's birthday party. The house is large, exceptionally clean and comfortable and easily accommodated 10 of us. It has working fireplaces in the public rooms which was lovely and cosy in the cold evenings. There is a large elegant dining room suitable for both formal and informal occasions. The kitchen has a huge Aga which supplies the hot water as well as heat for cooking (which can be challenging for the cook). We loved the indoor swimming pool and cosy fires. Only downside was the Aga oven losing heat when guests were showering.
