Absolute S@@thole.
Alarm bells rang when they asked for my credit card details over the phone instead of paying in arrival or after our stay. Subsequently checked me credit card details later to find they had debited my card on 3 separate occasions under different PayPal accounts. (All marked AYR location for same amounts)
This hotel was so bad we felt we had to contact environmental health and trading standards to investigate further. Please do not even consider this for your stay!!
The photos are at least 10 years old, the transport to the airport IS NOT included nor is breakfast. In fact the main hotel/kitchen is completely unsafe and out of bounds to public. We were directed to the annex, complete with damp, broken glasses, dirty sheets, mold on the walls and ceilings, burnt carpets and insects everywhere.
absolutely nothing like the website. Filthy carpets, dirty towel on bathroom door, stuff still the bins, no food or drink facilities , "chauffeur transfer" was local taxi firm, paper hanging off the ceiling, no fire/smoke alarms, not even a bar of soap in the bathroom, car park covered in weeds and potholes.....
Absolutely avoid , should not be operating. No soap in bathroom for washing hands, no kettle/tea coffee making facilities. No food or drinks available on the premises. £59 a night is a disgrace. No WIFI , only saw staff at check in, mobile number displayed if needed assistance, did not answer when I called.
Avoid like the plague! Steven McKnight still owes me £300 deposit for a room I was renting off of him. I’ve been waiting since January 2019 and he has decided to scam me out of money! He has avoided all opportunity to give my deposit back. Be warned he is an untrustworthy individual! He’s willing to take advantage of anyone he can.
Under refurbishment but didnt tell us . no food or drinks. Room was clean but no soap.or wifi. We were charged full price for a fraction of service. Night porter was ok. Cannot recommend AT ALL.
