Outstanding

On arrival the site looked idyllic. The location and scenery is beautiful. Check in at reception was simple with added instructions in view of the Covid19 pandemic. On arrival at our caravan there was a seal on the door stating that the van had been cleaned for our safety in line with current guidance. We had requested and paid extra for a high chair and travel cot which were in the caravan on arrival. Unfortunately the cot was too big to fit into any of the bedrooms. I rang reception to explain the predicament and was advised that most people put the travel cot in the lounge area. As the 4 adults would wish to sit in the lounge of an evening relaxing once the little ones had been settled into bed this wasn't a satisfactory arrangement. The caravan is classed as 8 berth but the bedrooms are small and difficult to move around in. We were a party of 4 adults and 3 children. We had to have a bed removed to accommodate the travel cot to avoid having it in the lounge area. Although tidy the high cupboard tops were very dusty, the lights coated with tiny flies, the extractor hood greasy and all vents very dusty . The site staff that attended the hot tub daily were extremely pleasant and courteous. Parking for one car adjacent to the caravan is possible but tight if a large vehicle. We haven't stayed in a caravan for many years and perhaps regular users accept the limitations of space? I think that apart from the one double bed the twins are only suitable for small children.

Great little hidden gem of a place. Staff are friendly, helpful and couldn't do enough for you. Site has a bar, restaurant, spa and gym and all immaculately presented. The vans are situated in landscaped plots nestled on a hill side with spectacular views across the valley. The beach is 5 minutes away and while its tranquil and peaceful "civilization" is only a mile or so from you. Perfectly situated as a base to explore further afield but there's no need to really.

Supposed to be a luxury caravan. It was a luxury price for an abismal stay. The caravan was on a very steep hill so having mobility problems was not an ideal location. The views were fantastic and having the car enabled us to enjoy the environment. The caravan was spacious with decent kitchen. We didn't use the cooker but when leaving discovered the gas hob taps had not been switched off. Good job the gas was not working. The central heating did not work on the 1st night but maintenance sorted problem out. The master bedroom had lovely fitted units. The bed was disgraceful. No mattress protector. Sheets, pillows, duvet were disgusting-very very poor quality. The outside seating area was dirty ,seat cushions grimey. Would not recommend this site.

Was going to book for this year but price gone up bit dear now lovely view from cabin and hot tub
