Great service, facilities with friendly staff. Honestly a great camp site. The kayaking was easy to rent. Just turn up and ask the chilled guy for a boat or two. They also do yoga on the beach area. After that and some walking, you can have some wonderful woodfire pizzas. You can burn some of your own wood in a campfire. You can buy the wood on the site and fire pits are available. The showers and toilets are clean, well lit and the shower is warm enough. The shop though isn't open 9-5 but that okay. Just cheek the times they're open. Plenty of space to pitch a tent, as you'd hope. They have staff that patrol the site and are happy to help if you ask. So over all is great. It has the facilities without feeling commercial.

Lovely campsite right on the side of a beautiful lake nestled between the Snowdon mountains. Had all the utilities you could ask for including tumble dryers, showers, cooking and washing areas aswell as a local shop. Would definetly visit again as it is in perfect walking distance to the Pyg track of Snowdon.

Great campsite. Rented a kayak which was fun! £14 for a double kayak for 2 persons, for 1 hour. Had also a very nice swim in the lake this week. Did feel a bit cold for the first 3 minutes, but after that it was simply amazing to swim around and look at the beautiful nature and mountains surrounding it.

I am a regular customer of this site and have been visiting every year for camping, hiking water sports, etc. No other place in the area like this and very helpful & friendly staff. Lovely scenery around the campsite and an excellent addition of onsite bar alongside a firewood pizza place. Local snowdon lager is must when you are there. Amazing taste and fresh feeling.

Amazing campsite, lovely views and relatively sheltered. Awkward reception times around 8 to 10 and 5 to 7 where they address campers and open the shop. DONT forget to get drying tokens or washing up tokens when their in as the machines only take those. 1 pound each for 15 minutes is a bit steep.
