Almost had the place to myself, aside from another Sam who was on a course. Camped in mid October and it was wet underfoot, I imagine this is less of an issue in summer, but then that's part of the joy of camping in October... friendly and helpful staff at the local pub and took them up on some firewood. Toilet and shower facilities were great. Would return, but probably not when its packed in the summer

We had a great 4 night stay at the campsite. We loved the views of Mt Snowdon and swimming in the lake / reservoir. It is walking distance from the Rangers Track up to Snowdon summit which was a real treat to avoid the busy side from Pyg Track and other more well trodden routes. We also ate at the Cwellyn Arms every night and had great food every time. The sticky toffee pudding was the best we have ever had ! Great hosts throughout and I highly recommend this campsite and pub for your stay in the Snowdon area.

Beautiful location, we were camping by the stream. Clean toilets and showers. Access to laundry room, more than you need when you decide to go camping. We didn't mind paying £7 for the wood. We had to leave earlier due to the weather conditions. Highly recommended

Nice campsite good toilets and showers. Great views. Location was ideal for what we were doing.

The good views and showers. The bad they had massively over booked cars for parking and people will have to park in all up and down the access road. The place has a definite bug infestation and the fact you have to buy the wood from the pub and it's so over priced makes BBQ for a group expensive. Last but not least the man who are believed to be the owner approached us as we were playing music and didn't know this was against the rules, here bear in mind we were playing it through a phone so not very loud and the nearest pitch to us about 30ft away. He proceeded to immediately threaten to call the police instead of explaining the rule and asking nicely this alone ruined the experience at the site.
