Got a bit crowded in the kitchen this year but otherwise brilliant facilities. Unfortunately my daughter and he dog couldn't join us for a cup of tea outside on the picnic benches. No dogs allowed to come into contact with anything owned by YHA!!
This is a hostel with the atmosphere of the pioneers. In a fairy tale location for any outdoors lover. Staff are ultra friendly and endeavour to keep to place (especially the kitchen) sparkling clean and they will also provide with invaluable advice and orientation for hiking in the area. Really looking forward to staying there again.
Really homey and lovely, with super friendly staff. In an absolutely beautiful location with some amazing walks around lakes right nearby.

Great cottage for a night. Kitchen is big and you have room to cook. It has an amazing view nearby and it's cheap!
Really great hostel, staff have been so friendly and amazingly helpful with advice on walks to take and things to visit. Room and showers (really good,hot, high powered) etc all clean and good facilities in the kitchen. Will definitely be back to stay again.
