I have been staying here for around 30 years on and off, in my youth we would camp and more recent years in my Sister and Brother in-laws caravan, it's been through some changes, mostly for the better it now has new styled caravans and scaped grounds and a small children's play ground by the entrance to the site. The toilet block as it was back in the day has had a major face lift some parts of it are new, all of witch are clean with nice large showers with free hot water and hair dryers, the block is cleaned twice a day. The only bit that could do with looking at is the camping field now located at the back of the site, the grass can be long and the ground a bit uneven (lumps under the grass) it can get a bit crowded and loud at times. This is a working farm so no entertainment on site, this makes it a perfect place to relax and unwind, wake up to the sounds of sheep, cows and the tooting of the local steam train that runs from town through the valley including a stop at the water falls. We have many happy memories here and in surrounding places.
