Have had the misfortune to visit on several occasions, however can only describe as exemplary. From the admin, porters, to catering and naturally the medical team you get 5 star service here, even during lockdown. A & E can bring out the best and worst of people, but the home team is fantastic.
I had an overnight stay in Watford A&E because of a fall. I cannot believe how wonderful, professional and downright amazing the staff were to me. I was worried and concerned and yet they alleviated all my fears with open knowledge and a fantastic service. In the Ward I stayed (Green Ward (I think?)) there was such a great atmosphere. Sometimes I forgot I was in a hospital because of the laughs and chats I had with these incredible staff. I was kept informed at all times and for all Monty Python lovers they even had “the machine that went ‘ping’!“
Quality service and total peace of mind. A massive thanks to you all at A&E and Green Ward. I thank you.
I had to stay in A&E over night for 1 night. And nurses and doctors are so Knowledgeable and helpful.

I been here last 2 weeks.. admitted due to urine passage problem.. this is my 5th ward name is fade ward level 4.. i got good service from all other wards like immediate response from nurse staffs for medical care and food stuffs. But from this ward their don’t t care about the patient considerations.. i don't know it was because of less staff or their doing intentionally .. So boring ward to get service immediately..
During the pandemic, we all have to be abit more patient, a bit more understanding. I was rushed in with abdominal pains and seen almost straight away, diagnosed within minutes, given an infusion of antibiotics and painkillers and sent back home feeling a lot better. What else do you want?!
