A receptionist that I spoke to was incredibly dismissive, unhelpful, rude and even lied about things said in a prior phone call that we had. I am astonished at the sheer negligence and flippant behaviour. Please consider registering with another GP.

Dr Israel, all the GPs, nurses and admin staff are very professional and kind under what have recently been very trying circumstances. I appreciate all that they have done to help me manage my pain during COVID. I'd like to particularly mention Stuart Hall who takes the time to find the answers every time! Thank you.

I’ve used this practice for around 20 years and normally they are relatively good. Recently waiting times are up to an hour (which I guess I can understand). However, recently called to ask if a doctors note could be amended and the receptionist (Jennifer) was the rudest most impatient person I’ve ever spoken to there. Surely when calling a doctors office where the public call in for a variety of reasons, calls should be handled a bit more professionally and with an element of patience. Speaking with abruptness and starting sentences with ‘Well’ and ‘I just told you’ is not very professional and just maybe Jennifer needs to understand the vast sensitivity of someone calling a DOCTOR and relax a bit!!

1) I have used the practice for years however I was disappointed by the way I was recently treated. 2) I requested for GP's letter, confirming my medical condition etc. The letter had various errors so I complained. Upon my complaint, the charge for the same letter was increased from £25 to £70 without explaining why. 3)Further more, the admin staff threatened to charge me extra each time I sought for the letter to be revised even if the inaccuracies were their fault. 4) I was also asked to make a payment for the letter in advance which is not the normal practice. This was after I complained. According to the normal practice, patients are given the opportunity to check their letters before making payment. More so, no patient is obliged to pay for a letter they are not happy with. 5) They refused to include in the letter the factual information that I pointed out from my medical records without explaining why. The letter was attached with my psychological reports without my consent that way putting me in a position to make unnecessary disclosure. No adequate explanation if any, was given for doing this 6) More so, no adequate explanation was given as to why I was being charged £70 for a letter with information that already existed on the system. In fact I had already paid for the same information /letter in the past. 7) As if that is not enough the letter they were seeking to charge me £70 for was not signed or stamped. I gave them ample time (over 3 weeks) to sign the letter to no avail. I also have evidence that their letters are normally stamped so why was mine not stamped? 8)They also refused to give me a copy of their Policy for writing letters, again no explanation was given. 9) I asked to see the manager and they refused and no apology was given for any of the issues I complained about seen above. 10) I needed the letter for my court case, refusing to give me the letter that I requested prejudiced the outcome of my case.
