My first time using this post office since it was taken over by new management, and i have to say Harry & the team are really friendly and extremely helpful, they provided me with information on a drop and go service which would be beneficial to myself.
I went to New Eltham Post Office to post a large letter today and asked for registered post, having weighed the letter I was told it would cost £7.50, I said that was a bit expensive but the lady said noting, having paid for the postage I checked online and found that there was cheaper options starting from £3.80 for 48 hrs tracked or 48 hrs tracked and signed for £4.44, just disappointed that she did not take the time to ask if I need to have my parcel derived 1pm by special delivery, which I did not, so lets offer him the most expensive option, yes she made a sale but lost a customer as I will now buy my postage, be it letter or parcel online.
Rubbish, will not use this post office again. Which is a shame as the shop staff are really helpful. Post office staff, not helpful at all. Gave incorrect and misleading information in order to take more money. Certainly not the service you would expect.
