After queing for more than forty minutes I was told that the branch was not taking Parcelforce packages, apprently the guy that normally collected was on holiday. There was no sign to tell me this in advance of queing. Also on the post office website they said the branch would close at 4pm, there was a sign posted at the counter (not at the door) saying that they would be in fact closing at 3pm. Very disatisfied indeed.

They are very picky about which kind of parcels they accept on which day. They don't do click n collect from mid November until mid January. And you can't collect a royal mail parcel from the shop the post office is in if the post office is closed Mon to Fri 9 to 5

Never any staff there even when during stated opening hours, 3 times now I've made special journeys to find no one there
