Downham Post Office is one of the best Post Offices around. The Post Mistress is very kind, affable and knowledgeable whilst being professional at the same time which also applies to her counter staff who all go out of their way to assist customers. Nothing appears to much trouble for the staff. I actually have a post office just around the corner from where I live but I prefer to travel from Hither Green to the Downham Post Office because of the aforementioned customer service offered.

Today my wife was post the letter for recording delivery, the price was extremely high, it cost 6 pound 45 pence.Actually I just want someone sign from post, usually cost as 1pound 74pence,it was huge gap, but the main thing as who ever explained this service, then I tried to contact them, but they have too many excuse,and saying too late to change it,I was very sad about the service, and never come back to there for post mail
