Have to agree with the majority of others. Absolutely terrible customer service. Rude, inefficient & hostile. I've only been served by one female member of staff, suspect the same one mentioned in other reviews. I've only gone to collect items & she almost holds your package hostage. I only got mine by refusing to leave until she had checked properly & surprise surprise, it was found. Better off using the one in co-op on lower addiscombe road, even if you have to queue.

Rude staff. I had to send multiple envelopes to various countries (~5) and the lady behind the counter acted like I had personally offended her by such a request. She asked me repeatedly on each what country, what address, when they were written clearly (in spaced capitals) on each. Even when I pointed this out, she would snarl and then just ask me on the next one. She also insisted on putting an international stamp on northern ireland (?) so it was the same price as the same size/weight as Norway and Germany. When I asked if I could offset the amount with some stamps I had already affixed, she ignored me and charged the full amount, pasting it over my stamps. I asked her to post the first 2 (london) while I paid for an envelope to put 1 of the letters in. She insisted I paid for the envelope with her separately first, go away to write the address, and then come back before she would post anything. Then I had to pay for each individually, so had ~6 charges and the same number of receipts. I'd rather wait 20 minutes in a queue and have someone who didn't want to a) waste my time b) be rude and c) act like asking her to do her job would be such an inconvenience. She should just quit, as the reviews here are just painfully accurate. If you've got anything else to do than buy a stamp and post it in the box outside, just don't bother.

I am still in shock. The awful woman behind the counter showed me my 3 parcels delivered there, which I came to collect - then refused to give them to me! I managed to get one, which she later decided to ask back from me, when I questioned and questioned WHY she had THROWN the other 2 back on the shelf! I had my passport and debit card AND proof of address! I have later discovered I only needed any ONE of these to collect my item! She was making no sense as she kept changing her mind! She said the proof of address couldnt be on my phone.... even though I didnt even need this anyway! I called Royal Mail but after being on hold for 40mins in the shop, I told her I would be back after I had spoken to them!! I finally got through and they told me I was correct! And they are now following this up! But she threatened to send my mail back to senders! They also keep packages that we trust them to send for us, left in the aisles of the store for anyone to potentially walk out with! I am so shocked and will update this review when I have received the outcome.Avoid at all costs for security of your sent and recieved items. I have no idea why she chose to open a post office counter in her shop, if she is this rude and aggressive with the simplest of post office requirements and no interest in customer care.
