Wallington Post Office

This post office have 2-3 very helpful staff members and 2 rude staff members one of whom does gives incorrect information on top of their rudeness and not interested to help. A real shame otherwise i would have given 5 stars

Gave up waiting as there was only one staff serving and queue was in the street at 1635.Asian lady is always nice and efficient. The other staff are generally awful and never apologise to customers as if we are an inconvenience to their work.

You will have to queue up here, there are normally only 2 staff at the counter and because this branch covers all post office services it is usually busy. Staff are sometimes rude and unhelpful.

During times of crisis we should never take for granted our core services. The Post Office Wallington offers a professional and consistent service with very friendly staff.

I am literally in shock after my experience at Wallington Post office this afternoon. I have seen online comments stating that a number of people are now refusing to take their custom there due to the extremely poor service, and as I entered, there was an existing altercation. I was publicly falsely accused by a member of counter staff and then shouted at in front of several other customers by another member of staff in response to her false accusation of "abuse" which she is clearly employing as a buzz word for action and profiling customers in the process (appalling in itself to be honest!) I had simply made an enquiry about postage that I asked to then be given time to check with the person I was delivering to. Due to the Covid-19 and social distancing measures, I asked where I should stand to make this necessary pause. I believe the staff member has notable communication difficulties as she then made the unsolicited statement that she could not "look after my package". To which I responded, "I did not ask you to look after my package" and stepped three metres away into a corner to check some information on my phone. (Please note, I am wearing a mask throughout this set of circumstances).From 3 metres away with my head down in a phone and wearing said mask, the member of staff then shouted at me "did you abuse me?". I am still reeling from the verbal attack which escalated into further slander from the member of staff she reported the non-event to. But even more so at the lack of a transparent complaints procedure, a refusal to identify the member of staff by name, and further to this a cursory and dismissive referral to Sutton post office to make said complaint. In my opinion, the other staff at the post office are also in fear of this tyrannous yet unnamed staff member. I shall however, ensure that this complaint is made known and I further apologise on behalf of humankind for this consistently disgraceful treatment of unsuspecting post office customers!
