Norwood Post Office

This place is absolutely joke.How on the world this people still can keep the job. Unprofessional and that attitude you can take with you and go from where you come.

I unfortunately have to use this post office a lot. I often have bad experiences, I bought a box so I can post a gift to Japan. I asked to borrow a little tape and I was told they don't have it. I also was told they didn't know how to close the box either as I was struggling. I remember the Post Office that is now Budgens, they had an area where you could write letters and prepare boxes to post. Nothing in the post office had anyway to help facilitate the customer. I was told to use the fridge in the corner to sort myself out. I really miss the old Royal Mail Post Offices they were created to help the customer not make us feel like a nuisances I will try and find a better post office to go to.

The female staff are very polite and courteous. However the short angry man that works there needs help. I had to school him today and explain his level of customer service was atrocious. I of course will be going in there again. And will continue to school him if required. I hope his manager sends him away for training. Or better still get rid of him.

The second time in the space of a year I have had awful customer service from this post office and both times the short, miserable, overweight, bald, angry man was responsible. I'd had a Parcel Force parcel rearranged to be delivered there yesterday following two failed deliveries to my home address. This morning when I went to collect the angry man immediately said we don't have the parcel before even checking. I explained that it was confirmed to me the parcel would be redelivered here. He confirmed they had not received a delivery from parcel force. Although I sensed he was lying I did not argue, I accepted his word, left and called Parcel Force to enquire. Parcel Force immediately confirmed it was delivered and emailed me a receipt with an electronic signature from Mr Patel. I then went back to the post office and went to a different lady who managed to find the parcel without even leaving her desk within about 10 secs. The parcel was in fact less than a metre away from the angry man. This guy has got a real problem and is consistently difficult and creates problems where there are none. This is not the first time we have had a run in with him. Judging by the comments below its clear others are having the same problem with this guy which makes me wonder how has this guy still has a job there? I won't be providing that shop in general any business until that guy is gone because he is a nasty piece of work.

The staff seem to hate their job, and take it out on customers. Terrible service.
