Post Office

Lovely local family business. Always helpful.

So apparently the staff at @PostOffice hanwell broadway feel that they are in the right to tell a customer that 1. Their transaction has been declined by the bank and 2. That i should have made sure that I had enough money in my account to pay before I went there. Which I did! But because of the persons manspaining shouldn't have come here comment in panicking thinking that there's something wrong on my account, try the atm outside in a rush, it then said that I have put the wrong pin number in twice which I didn't and now my account is locked. When I said to him that the bank said that the first decline was due to contactless limits and not money issues, and rather then making a snide comment about making sure I have the funds to pay for an item his first response should have been 'try inserting your card and put in the pin' he basically said that he wasn't in the wrong, that he hadn't said anything rude and that because of my issue with trying to contact the bank (this was after I said to him to void the transaction so that he could serve others and he said that he couldn't void it which it went i then started rushing to contact the bank to stop a long queue) that they had long queues. Maybe if this postoffice taught some of their staff proper customer services and told them not to make comments about customers making sure they had enough money in their accounts before going to the post office, then they wouldn't get long queues when things like this happen. Really really bad postoffice. Avoid the younger male employee if you can help it if you have no other choice in going there

This post office is by far the best in the area and beyond. The people working at the Hanwell post office are polite, efficient, knowledgeable and dare I say charming . I’ve never waited more then the norm but even if I see a queue I do not care as I know it will move fast. There is nothing that they do not know . Lucky to be a local 👌 Keep it up 👍
