Really good service. Doctors are professional and prepared. I been visited by a young lady doctor who was really nice and patience, I do not remember the name but I really liked her. I highly recommend!

I was treated extremely badly by Mr Mahi Muqit, his full name btw is Mr Mahiul Muhammed Khan Muqit. He was rude and arrogant, not to mention that I was waiting around for 3 hours despite being a private patient and paying for my appointment. He made me upset and caused me a lot of distress. I got to my appointment early and was initially seen by a lady, midway, she handed me over to someone else. She took my results in order to make copies but when she handed the documents back to me, she handed back both the originals and the copies, I noticed this straight away and gave one set back to her. I then got taken upstairs for a scan but there was no one around. Apparently the person who does the scan was off sick, a lady in the hijab (don't know her name) told me that 'this was understandable as we all have family', even though I didn't say anything to her. After waiting around for quite a long time, when I asked what was happening, I was told by a Mauritian chap that I was second in the queue. I then had the scan done and was taken downstairs. This only happened after I asked what was happening. I was then seen by Mr Muqit who was rude and arrogant. He told me that the scan hadn't come through, he was very impatient with me and didn't seem to like the fact that I was writing down what he was saying when I was asking about my eye problem. Whilst I was talking with him, midway, he went out of the office, came back after a few minutes, took his mobile and disappeared. I'm a professional too (a solicitor) and I see clients too but I don't treat clients the way he treated me. I don't leave clients midway of the meeting and nor do I use my personal mobile when I am with clients. He is being paid for the time we spend with him. He then came back and said that I needed to have the scan again because the notes hadn't come through to him. What was this, a joke? I clearly explained to him that the light was very bright when I had the scan done and I didn't feel comfortable in having this done again and I had to wait hours to have the scan done in the first place. I was still passed from pillar to post. I was passed on to the lady in the Hijab again. She said she would prefer it that I speak with a practice manager even though I didn't ask to do this. I was then put in a room on my own and nothing happened for a very long time. I came out to find out what was going on. Why was I put in a room on my own? I did eventually see the practice manager but I didn't take the complaint any further. Recently I have asked Mahi for the complaints procedure but this has not been provided to me. After doing the scan again, when I saw Mahi again, he rushed the consultation and ended it very quickly, I got the impression he had something personal against me. He was very rude to me when I asked him for the notes but I saw how polite he was to 'white patients' He was arrogant and controlling. There were no apologies for keeping me waiting for 3 hours. I'm a lawyer and also sometimes charge by the hour. Despite spending £1900 membership fee a year with Bupa, I didn't expect to be waiting around for 3 hours. It wasn't just the wait time that bothered me, it was the way I was treated, I came out very teary, distressed and suffered both emotionally by the way I was treated and suffered a financial loss too. DO NOT GO TO THIS OPHTHALMOLOGIST AND AVOID HIM AT ANY COST!!!!
