This surgery is in need of serious improvement and I am reporting my concerns to the Care Quality Commission. The resident GPs on the whole are nice and caring, however as none of them work more than one or two days a week if you want any continuity with a GP then you need to wait minimum six weeks for an appointment otherwise its a series of locums. The practice does not seem to be well managed and admin errors are repeatedly made and patient care is being seriously impacted and vulnerable people put at risk as a result. I've been trying to get hold of a repeat prescription for about a fortnight and the reception staff have made a series of errors which mean I now don't have medication. This is one of many disappointing and frustrating experiences. Sadly it feels there is little care of the patients of community in which they work, it's all really sad to witness and makes me feel very depressed about the state of the NHS.

A few doctors here are consistently good, Dr Hira in particular is always great, she is very friendly, personable and efficient. I haven’t seen Dr Salkind for a few years, and I avoid seeing her. She speaks with contempt and attitude, and refuses to be questioned. I don’t know why she remains being a doctor, she strikes me as someone who hates their job, or simply enjoys belittling people. The way the practice is run is also completely dire. It’s always disorganised. The reception staff here are truly some of the worst I’ve ever encountered. Impatient, rude, unfriendly, sarcastic in tone and lazy.

You have to wait 2 weeks for an appointment so I changed GPs. My mother currently goes here and it has just gotten worse. She had an appointment for 11am and has been waiting an hour. They're also telling me after 3 years that she has diabetes?! 3 YEARS THEY'VE HAD THIS INFORMATION AND DIDN'T TELL US. The receptionists are rude and misinformed. They will tell you that test results are all fine but in reality they are not. Once you finally speak to a doctor they'll say "oh you should have been informed to call'.

Some doctors are lovely, but one is awful and made me feel stupid and cry and very abrupt

I only have issues with one staff member - Michelle. She's in the wrong job. She lacks human empathy and is always dismissive and very abrupt, face to face and on the phone. I rang about my blood pressure medication prescription which should have been sent electronically to my nominated pharmacy but had been printed out over a week ago and plonked at reception. Understandly to any one with a medical condition, I was worried but she just kept interrupting my questions with "I don't know", "I don't know!","You have to come and pick it up!" I was so upset with the phone call, I was reduced to tears!! I have heard her being loud and bullish to other patients too. It's just not what you need when you're ill. When I see her at the window, my heart rate quickens. I really don't know why she works at a medical centre.
