Recent experience of e-consulatation was very efficient as I was called back on the same day. Even pre-Covid I would never have got a non-urgent appointment within 24 hrs, with blood pressure check next day, and prescription delivered to the local pharmacy the day after. Hopefully if those of us who can use this service do, thrn it will free up face to face appointments for more vulnerable or elderly patients who may not be able to use the e-consultancy service, or who need the reassurance of a real-life appointment.

More than pleased with this surgery. Over the years I have rarely needed to contact the surgery, but over the last month i've submitted two e-consultations and both have been responded to in a timely fashion with very helpful advice. One e-consult led to a telephone appointment with the nurse who was very professional and understanding - a real asset to the surgery. I have also had experience contacting the surgery to book in my parents flu jabs - again an easy process, and my parents were both pleased with the smooth process of getting their jabs despite the current COVID pandemic. Well done Penarth Healthcare Partnership.

You got more luck at winning the Lottery without a ticket on a Sunday evening than you have of getting an appointment at this surgery. After been on hold for over an hr to get a flu jab appointment (for a vulnerable patient) we have to wait 6 weeks!!!

I have a repeat prescription and suffer with depression and anxiety. Yet every 3 months I have no prescription at Boots and then they are queuing on the phone to chase it which is a waste of their time when they could be helping others. It causes me slot of anxiety each month. Thinking of changing doctors as since becoming the partnership the surgery has gone downhill

If you are lucky enough to have a Face 2 Face with a doctor, they are lovely. The difficulty is jumping through all the hoops, at the correct time on the right day to pass through reception. This isn't easy when you feel poorly.
