Western Road Post Office

Great customer service. The staff always welcomes you with a smile. They are very knowledgeable and they have a well stocked shop. I have been visiting this post office every week for the last 14 months and I have personally witnessed very rude customers with no manners or education that get angry when they don’t get what they want. They probably are the ones that leave bad reviews. But if you are polite and you want good advise this the right post office for you. :) And if you drive there are always 1 or 2 parking spaces available (1 hour free parking).

Absolutely pathetic service! The Singh tried to give me false information, stating I need a return address for a special delivery, or I cannot post. That it is mandatory for me to do this. Who is he kidding? Has he got different rules to what royal mail state on their website? maybe he thought I have no experience in sending parcels? Royal mail special delivery offer compensation if a parcel is ever lost. I have sent 100s of parcels and never been told it's mandatory to include a return address. He made up his own rules up on the spot, and I told him clearly I will be reporting him to royal mail for this. Such a petulant attitude this guy has! I run a small business from home and am not comfortable sharing my home address with random customers. I then went to my local post office and asked if this was correct information the owner was stating. I was told it was absolutely false information! I then was asked which post office did this incident happen at? I told them it happened at Western road post office. The lady behind the counter laughed and told me she has had numerous complaints regarding that post office. So I have started my complaints procedure. And I thought I'd check their reviews out. And I was not surprised at all, 2/5 rating. Complaints galore... This is not the end of this complaints procedure. I am going to forward this to royal mail complaints department. And will alert them of the amount of complaints this post office has just on Google!! Avoid this post office at all costs. They owner lives in fantasy land!!!

My friend visited within last few days and had terrible experience so i thought i would recount my similar experience. I visited here a while ago an found the “lady” behind the counter rude, obnoxious and abrupt (batmeez) whilst trying to tax my car. I had the green part of the log book as i was a new keeper but she was adamant i also needed to apply for a new log book. (The only post office to demand this i tax cars regularly every other post office wrong and they are right?) I told her i would never set foot in there again after she showed me such attitude (i was pleasant and very respectful btw) i then went to the post office at hunt road and found them helpful and pleasant and have used them ever since, also its not as busy there and you can park easily

Horrible service so unprofessional post office staff, eating away food behind the post office counter, speaking randomly to other people behind counter in different language while the customers waiting. Lady went off the counter to answer her call didn’t even inform the people waiting at the counter before leaving or apologised for the time she took talking to someone in her own language and answer the phone. They can Randomly close the post office on random times like 2pm or 2:30om because the lady would like to go for a lunch break. Well they should hire enough staff to cover the breaks rather than leaving the place and shutting it, as a customer I could be on a break from work for coming in to use the services it’s pathetic absolutely pathetic and horrible service. I have read the reviews as seen how the owner is taking the time to answer the reviews and evidently has the answer to everything and for everyone who’s had a major problem and issues rather thn taking the time to rectify their own mistakes. I shall be taking this further with actual post office services and make a complaint in person.

Bad staff To the owner you seem as rude as your staff was there a lot only way to get them being nice if u throw a compliment to them very disappointed also you dont have very good staff clearly look at the reviews who metioned other services? Im speaking about your office which clearly is badly managed sorry dear? Never heard them using cultural language to someone who is just there to send parcels and be on his way also u can have a "trained staff members" but that doesn't change the fact they are rude there is diffrence in being qualified and happy with ur work or being qualified but totally rude and hating working i also add that Your well trained staff while office is full can take a cigarette break and go speak on the phone for 20 min as previous reviews metioned seen it happened plenty times i was always forcefully nice so they wont treat me like s*it
