Spent a wet week in June at Silhouette cottage. Very comfortable with everything that you would need. The garden is nice, pity it was too wet to enjoy. The only thing we found was that the steep and narrow staircase was a struggle for two 70+ pensioners.

Great place to stay anytime of the year. Cottage is very clean and comfortable and has a large conservatory for dining and relaxing. Several outside areas with tables and chairs if the weather is good. Pub serving food around the corner. Plenty of local walks and only a few minutes drive to Monmouth, Symonds Yat, Puzzlewood and more.

We Cycled from Lydney station to this cottage(coming from London) and boy was it a sight to behold. Lovely setting, absolutely everything was there for us to settle in, cooking utensils, towels and even fire starters and wood to burn! The owner Michelle has taken good care of this home. It's a gem by the forest of Dean.
