Me and a group of friends had a lovely weekend camping at Big Barn. The site is beautiful and we loved that they had a focus on sustainability. For every booking, a tree is planted to offset your travel. Everything is solar powered which means plenty of hot water. It’s very conveniently located to lots of coastal places but you could easily spend a full day winding down on site. Michael was helpful in recommending restaurants and pubs. We had a brilliant time and we are missing having a beer around our fire pit already.
A very warm welcome from the host, beautiful surroundings. A very environmentally friendly site.

The owner was delightful and managed to fit us in last minute when we had no where to pitch over camper van. The surroundings were divine with such attention to detail. Excellent capsite and facilities. Ideal for families. We were greated by friendly farmer Michael who was very helpful chickens, ducks and pigs.
Fantastic site, with lovely owner and beautiful glamping bell tent. We stayed 6 nights and we could have easily stayed longer. We normally camp, but decided to glamp and the bed was fantastic. Big kitchen space with large picnic table. Fabulous view and own composting loo. So much to do in the area we actually ran out of time to visit the farm animals...
