Terrible experience! I have been 3 times over the past 3 weeks and every time there has been a queue around the corner to get into the shop, and then another really long queue once you get in, only to find there is only one person servicing. Staff are perfectly friendly but it’s ridiculous they don’t have more people serving. Took me 45 mins to deliver 1 package last time!

I was waiting for the post office and it took around 1 hour. There’s a massive queue out in the cold which goes past the Sainsbury’s and then when I though I could pay there was yet another queue inside which took a while also. As well as this only 2 people were serving when there could’ve been up to 5.

The queues during the lockdown were reaching the end of the street waiting for 1.5hr to post a recorded letter while working night shift as a key worker. One elderly gentleman serving all of us at least he was nice and polite but felt bad for him. Help would have been appreciated for all of us staff and customers. Elderly people coming to join the queue and I had to give a way to a lady as she could barely stand as staff would not consider helping them out. I also witness a disabled woman coming to join the queue an hour earlier prior opening so she wont sit in a longer queue once they open. Regular staff in the post office are moody and rude every time prior the restrictions. Only the elderly gentleman and a young man working mainly on weekends are nice and polite always.
