Wimbledon Post Office

Please check your receipts when ever you purchase or do a transaction. I have used this post office a lot for moneygram service which has a same day next day collection. Always specify a next day collection which is cheaper. Was looking in to my receipts today and found out I have been charged full cost all the time. They do this deliberately. Phoned them and was unwilling to talk over the phone. I have to go in which I did not have time.

Probably the worst post office in Wimbledon. Such rude unhelpful staff. No wonder they get bad reviews.

Terrible! They haven't got a clue. Charging the wrong postage, no manners, very rude. Shouldn't be allowed to run a post office.

Zero customer service skills - staff are miserable without basic skills of even looking at you when you talk to them as though you are a distraction to them. They offer minimal level of information for any request you ask. Go somewhere else.....

As mentioned with the rest of the fellow Google Reviewers here, the customer service is not to its normal standard of what a customer should normally expect. I am aware who the store owner is and I was dealing with a package to be delivered. Requested a couple things for the package for a family member and paid for it. Then family member had to clear some things on the phone and just wanted one of the fees. I went back to the till in line to ask for a refund and just get one of the postal fees and remove the second one. This is where the store owner lady got frustrated and upset with me. Told me that it cannot be done as another customer already made a transaction after me. Then her second excuse was that it will take a long time and she didn't know how long it would take to sort it. 1. I said I would wait a bunch of times every time she made an excuse and repeated herself when displaying openly her frustration. I kept calm and clear but also sternly civil about the whole thing as there were people and a child around. I was SHOCKED at her response to be so open about how she poorly dealt with a customer while I still remained calm. 2. Anyway when she sorted my receipt and gave refund - it did not take a long time. In the end, I knew she just did not want to deal with a customer problem and not put the effort to sort an issue that was important to me. Then she insisted she keep the last receipt while she gave me the new one instead of saying it in a professionally calm way. Poorly handled once again. 3. After I've gotten my refund, without any hesitation or question to ask me first, the store owner gave my refund in coins. Since I originally paid by card it would normally be paid back into the card. Another quick solution to her convenience which was another disappointment with her once again. I didn't say anything here as up to this point I realised this store owner will continue to be this way and nothing will change despite all the many negative reviews she's been getting. It's clear that customer service is NOT her main priority to bring in more business and knowing it's one of the very few post offices in the area that as long as money is coming in, her status as store owner means she can act however she wants. 4. I left the store saying hope she has a nice day and she responded - you too. If I didn't take initiative to dissolve the tension she would most likely just ended it with her apathetic attitude. Cleary she does not know the importance of CUSTOMER RIGHTS and having their issues done - so please keep that in mind when going into this store with issues. You won't get them resolved once you pay. This store owner showed rudeness and very much severe unprofessionalism which is sad as she is the store owner who could care less about simply helping a customer to resolve their problem regardless of the issue. Goes to show this store owner expects perfect customers with no issues to make her day or she'll take her frustration easily out on customers that she deals with otherwise. Ultimately, BASIC good customer service does not exist at this store with this store owner (CORRECTION: the males in the store have a much better attitude towards the customers so go to them for their service). I advise from my disappointing experience, to not go to this Wimbledon Post Office to resolve any issues, and always take photos of receipts, stamped packages and everything.
