I would recommend the practice. Most times Doctor's and front line are very polite. Waiting times for taking appointments and in the waiting room are long. most time they run late where we need to plan more time for the appointments, I believe they will try to rectify it also this could be due to the number of patients registered at practice too. No sure how this will impact if there is an emergency though.

I have always received excellent care from GP's,nurses coupled with helpful input from reception staff.I feel fortunate to be with this practice.

Unprofessional receptionist, you can say that again. I was experiencing chest pains and the doctor sent me away, claiming that he didn't have any scanners. Surely he could have done some initial checks and then decide. You know, showed some empathy. The doctor/caring attitude?

The GP was a great help during the COVID-19 time. My son had some health issues that were handled in very professional manner. The receptionist as well as doctors made sure we didn’t meet anybody in the waiting room and my son was provided all needed examinations in highly hygienic environment. The staff was amazing and kind

I dread telephoning the practise because I find the reception staff unfriendly and sometimes even hostile sounding. It always seems like you are being a nuisance if you call to try and sort out a repeat prescription, for example. I once was told and dismissed by a GP that my son had " new schoolitus" when I took him in for worrying tummy pains. His pain continued, so I returned to the surgery and got a sample bag from them, I took my son's stool sample to St Albans hospital and the next thing I knew, I had a visit from Environmental Health agency who said that my son had a parasite living in him. The entire local water supply had to be checked as a result. Environmental health actually said to me, " good job your GP was so on the ball that they asked for a sample." I told them that it had in fact been Mother's intuition that had forced me to take action myself and that the GP had actually left me feeling like an over worrying parent. I could have accepted this with grace if I had had some form of apology ! Just saying....it doesn't take much to be friendly.
