Absolutely fab location to use as a base for visiting Canterbury and the surrounding countryside. Vegan breakfast was great, room (stables 8) was well equipped and comfortable. Lovely gardens if you just want to chill too. Friendly staff, great customer service, highly recommended.
Great value bed and breakfast in the centre of Canterbury with an extensive garden and outdoor space. Stable rooms were a good size with a good bathroom plus having its own access door leading onto to terrace and into garden was a big plus.
All staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was good.
Would definitely stay again.
Great location with a wonderful garden in which to rest after a day walking or touring. We stayed in what is called the stables backs on to west station line but trains did not disturb. Breakfasts inside or out all you need to eat and very friendly staff coping with covid well. An honesty bar at very reasonable prices and a great selection of beers, wines and miniature spirits. Room was spotless and comfortable bed. We have stayed before and hope to go again. Adequate car parking but remember to pull your wing mirrors in as it is a narrow entrance. Looked for something to complain about with no success so hopefully We can get in next time as it will become so popular.
Have not stayed here but after seeing it and the owner on 4 in a bed l will have to come and stay. Lovely lady
The only place to stsy. Excellent food and a well stocked honesty bar at very reasonable prices. Tight squeeze to get the car in need to pull in your mirrors. Staff so friendly and even can give knowledgeable advice on curing a bad back at no extra charge. Coping well with Covid. The garden is a gem to rest in after a days hard walking. You can breakfast outside. We stayed in the stables clean and comfortable beds. Backs on to railway but trains did not disturb. Is there anything I can fault? Could not find any dust or a strand of hair so we could not reduce the bill. Will be back.
