Just went to the cafe with my parents and was asked for ID. I didn't have any so was asked if I had online banking- I do, however showing a complete stranger whats in my bank account wasn't an option. Furthermore online banking does not display my name or address from the app. Was then asked by the lady if I had an amazon account for her colleague to say that wasn't accepted. It seems like staff need better training and to use some common sense before asking for sensitive data from people. I only wanted a cup of tea!
I'd like to thank Alex, in the Tesco cafe. She is the first point of contact for taking food & drink orders. The cafe has been very busy, lately, but Alex keeps working calmly & efficiently and always with a smile. You really can't complain about waiting when the staff are working so hard.
