An excellent campsite, very friendly and welcoming with all the facilities you need. Even allowing campfires in some pitches. Additionally the most lovely proprietor of a campsite I've met, nothing is too much trouble. He even was kind enough to provide a hat for a trip to a local beauty spot, and went out of his way to signpost us to local necessities and attractions.
We had a lovely experience but the service was rather slow! It took them 2 hours just to get ice, and they charge £7 for wood only enough for 1 fire so you have to but more logs and £1.50 for a bag of ice. The closest shop is 10 minutes drive, definitely bring a car to this campsite. There were a few things broken when we got here so have a proper look around when you arrive, other then that our whole experience was alot of fun. It's great for families with kids and a great get together with friends!!!
I came here to have a look round as we wanted to see the camp site before we booked, what can I say.......absolutely beautiful setting,everything you need and the bell tents they had there was the best set up ive ever seen,looking forward to book this fantastic site when it's finally open!!!!!
