We loved this hotel. Fantastic location and a lovely period building. Rooms were a little dated as was the bathroom, however; it was clean and comfortable and that was enough for us given the cost of the room, it was brilliant value for money. Bar area was nice and so was the seating area near the stair case, which is where we chose to sit as we had our son was with us. Staff were also friendly and helpful. The staircase was beautiful and of course we had the obligatory photo on it. Would definitely return, it was a great base for exploring Cardiff!

Superbly well organised hotel centrally placed by the National stadium, which in these times, helps one feel much safer. The overnight deal I managed to secure, plus an upgrade to a suite, was excellent value.... Let down only by the somewhat sloppy service and evening meal to boot. I cannot complain as the breakfast service exemplary. We will return... again and again.

Had a lovely stay for 1 night here. Had a fab view of the castle and winter wonderland from our room. Breakfast was served in the restaurant with social distancing and hand sanitizer always available. Safe and easy check in and checkout. Nice to have a little bit of normality in the chaos that is covid. Would definitely recommend and will be back. Well done Angel!!

Lovely hotel in a fantastic location. The room was very clean, and although the bed seemed to be rather firm had a perfect nights sleep. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, we even had a anniversary card from them. The only downside was the shower took a little time to get to a decent temperature, however This was only a minor thing and we would definitely recommend a stay here.
