Stayed at the Bridge Cafe B&B for a couple days whilst exploring some of Wales' most prominent mountains. The B&B is well located in Brecon, and is a quick 10 minute drive to the climb for Pen y Fan and Corn Du. You could even walk there! Would 100% recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area!

Brilliant B&B in prime location for Brecon and the hills nearby. Breakfast was delicious, great coffee and a very comfortable bed! The hosts Jon and Carole made us feel very welcome and will definitely stay again next time I'm in the area.

Great place to stay! John is very friendly, has good recommendations and detailed route descriptions. If you don't have a map, don't worry he has some to borrow :) Also it is a good location for starting a (long) hike from Brecon to pen y big. Definitely a recommendation to stay there!

One of the best bed and breakfast establishments I have ever stayed in. John and his wife made us all feel very welcome and like members of their family. Nothing was to much at breakfast everything you could wish for from cooked to continental with home made ingredients and locally sourced produce. The acomodation in this old converted cottage was both quirky and comfortable. Overall a great experience made all the more memorable by John's lay back and familiar persona always willing to help.

We recently booked a long weekend in Brecon, to hike and enjoy the countryside and had the pleasure of staying at the marvellous Bridge Café B&B. From the first instance, John and Carole's hospitality went above and beyond. They offer a special discount if you book directly through their website and for us, right from our initial booking we felt well looked after, with the offer of a personal pick up to and from the station (cheaper than taxi)and providing maps and suggesting routes to a variety of hikes for a range of abilities. We were also provided with a bus timetable to help us take a day trip to Abergavenny to climb sugar loaf mountain. Both John and Carole were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The B&B is quaint, cosy and excellently located for hiking routes and the town centre. We stayed in the en-suite room, which was very spacious, with a large comfortable bed and big bathroom. It is also very quiet for a sound nights sleep. Breakfast was delicious, nothing was too much trouble and all for a reasonable price. Don't stay anywhere else.
