I really wish there was a minus star button. I booked this apartment, 110 New Writtle street, Chelmsford in February 2109 for a stay 16 - 19 May 2019 for 3 nights to attend a work conference which was situated a 2 minute walk away from the apartment. On the day of check in I was informed via email that the address changed to Primrose hill. As I was already on my way and it was a late check in I had no other choice to go the new address which was not walking distance to the conference as I had planned. Also the keylock code provided did not work and after struggling for 30 minutes in the dark at 10:30pm, I had to phone the company just to be informed that they gave me the wrong code and that the apartment I originally booked was not available. Further more, the heating was not working, there was not toilet paper and the bathroom sink did not drain. I had to wash my face and brush my teeth in the kitchen sink. The next day I checked out and booked a local hotel that was closer to the conference I had to attend. The management of Canaan apartments said that no refund will be offered. Daylight robbery! I had to make many phone calls to eventually get booking.com to refund at least 2 nights.
