Friendly staff, ok food and a fair sized room for a single. Being housed as a homeless person and the staff are non judgemental. The decor is a little dated but other than that, a good place.
I was there on a first aid course but they looked after us well for tea and coffee plus sandwiches the place was very easy to find
This hotel looks like an old school . Needs massively updating. The only good thing about this hotel is some of the staff. I had a 32 night stay here and had to change my own bed sheets as I worked nights. I arranged to let the hotel get into my room on 1 particular day and they failed to get into my room and clean it. I was out the hotel for nearly 2 hours. The UHT milk you get with the coffee floats in your coffee. The carpets are badly stained. The lights don't work properly. The bed isn't that bad. Clean bedding clean towels. The water has been over softened. You leave the shower feeling slimy and sticky once dried. What's that all about. The food is either over cooked or not cooked. The only thing that's edible is the pizza. The salad dish comprises of lettuce and some over powering vinegar dressing. The chips are actually quite nice. The menu is limited. The breakfast is well a 5 year old could cook better. The beer is overpriced. I had 8 bottles of Heineken and it cost me £36. That's £4.50 a bottle. Not impressed
Cheap so you can't expect much. The room was a little shabby. Curtain hanging off the rail a little. Dated bathroom and carpets was obviously built as an 80's conference hotel. Bed was comfortable and room was clean
The hotel looks like its been stuck in the 80's. The staff are friendly and rooms are clean but that's about as good as it gets. As for the food it's massively over priced for a meal that's been taken out of a freezer and heated in a microwave.
