That Amazing Place

We fell in love with TAP when we visited as Angie and the team were so personable and let you put your own spin on the venue which was a rare find. We ended up with a pandemic wedding bought forward on 24 hours' notice and Angie and Paul pulled out all the stops. Just faultless. Truly amazing.

We had a pandemic wedding for 15 guests after changing our plans.. I believe it was 4 times. Each time Angie was very accepting and optimistic, and each time our numbers were cut, put us at ease that our wedding will still be the best day of our lives. And thanks to her and her team, we had a perfect day! It was even better than we expected, so thank you That Amazing Place! A beautiful venue with beautiful people, inside and out!

We were married under Covid-19 in September 2020 and I am beyond thankful that this was our venue. The venue itself is stunning, finished to such a beautiful and high standard. Every visit we were welcomed like family and the entire team were outstanding. Food for our wedding (provided by Premier Crew Catering) was absolutely beautiful and everything we asked for. Covid-19 has posed a specific set of challenges for couples getting married this year, but even an international pandemic is no match for Angie, the Wedding and Events Director. Her support, contact and determination to give us the wedding we wanted despite everything going on meant that we didn't stop smiling start to finish. She was a complete superstar. We both agreed that, although it wasn't the original day we had planned, we couldn't have had a better day. I couldn't recommend That Amazing Place highly enough, they were incredible. Thank you everyone!

The entire team at That Amazing Place ensured that our wedding day went exactly to plan and took care of our every request throughout the process. The suppliers they recommended were great, which made the planning of our big day much easier and during the build-up to the wedding Angie was on hand to answer all our questions and reassure us, no matter how ridiculous our questions were! We went with That Amazing Place as our wedding venue as we felt the staff and venue offered something entirely different to other places we had viewed. Some wedding venues feel very traditional and rigid in the way they work, which wasn’t the vibe we wanted for our day. Speaking to Paul and Angie when we looked round, we got a real sense that there was a relaxed and fun (but still very professional) approach to the venue and that really stood out to us. We were consistently told ‘it’s your day’ and that we could do what we wanted, which was nice to hear, as some aspects of a traditional wedding really didn’t appeal to us. The venue is really intimate, and it made for a fun atmosphere throughout the day and especially into the evening as everyone was in close proximity and could mingle easily. Although the day is a bit of a blur I do remember Angie being really helpful in ensuring we were both where we needed to be. She was a much-needed calm presence! I’d recommend That Amazing Place as a wedding venue in a heartbeat and we’re both so glad that we picked it for our special day. The grounds and venue are beautiful but the main appeal to us was the unique vibe of it all that was such a great fit and allowed everyone to have such an amazing time.
