Took my family there for a week, can't believe the pool is closed as the roof has started to fall in, which I was told by residents it has been like that for ages. The club's house shut on most days and when open shuts at 9pm. And what use to be a lovely cafe and shop, well if you blink you Miss what's in side of the shop and cafe never had the food when ordering off their menu. I would stay well clear of the waterside park

Firstly, no longer a holiday park, and the name now changed to country park. Seems as though all the holiday let's are now gone (although I am sure there are many private owners who rent their homes out). Wouldn't recommend this place for children. Only a small outdoor play area, and not much club entertainment. The swimming pool was extended and reopened last year, although you had to book a slot to go swimming. However, this year the pool was closed for the whole of TBD summer as apparently work needs doing on the roof. Nice views over the Blackwater if you have a caravan / lodge with those views, but no so great otherwise

UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP 2018. This holiday Park has been purchased by an independent company. It had been run down and looking a bit sorry for itself during past years. The new company is investing a lot of money to bring this holiday park back up to spec. The work is already underway and the old shabby caravans are being removed and replaced with shiny new caravans and Lodges. This is a perfect time to choose this park if you are considering purchasing a holiday home as the prices and deals are very competitive. It is also a very good time to book a holiday and have the opportunity to experience the improvements and upgrades for yourself. Highly recommended!

Loved the park! So quiet and peaceful. While the pool is small, it was perfect for my family, As we only have a 15 month old. He loved the flume. There is also a jacuzzi and sauna, which we didn't use, as we had the baby. Small play park, but fine for our little boy. Staff were lovely and friendly. It's as if your old friends :D Would defiantly go back!

We have brought our touring caravan here on a few occasions and was interested in buying a static caravan here,but the sales manager if you can call her that was rood to us and when we spoke to a couple that said they had been on the site for some years,they explained that the sales managers partner was the maintenance manager and apparently he was sacked. She needs to take a management course on how to talk to and how to treat people.On our last visit toilets were absolutely disgusting,won't be coming back here. Now found a lovely site with proper management team and very clean toilets.
