Very peaceful farm surroundings, harvest in full swing but not an issue whilst camping. Very friendly owners keeping everything clean and tidy. Train station can be walked in 10 minutes and a local bus stop is just by the farm. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Grange Farm Campsite.
Just got back from spending a week at the campsite, myself and my daughter had a lovely time. The people who own the campsite keep it clean and tidy, they are always happy to help if you have a problem. We had a great time and are checking when we can visit again.....😊😊
It is really quite area. Coming from London, noisy city, been there feels relaxing. Ear the sounds of the birds. Nice people as well.
Grange Farm says on it's leaflet "The Back to Basics Site". We had no problem with that. Clean site and toilet block and hardstanding had plenty of room for our motorhome. Also the village actually is an easy 10 minute walk from the site where there are pubs, eateries and bus stops. We went to Clacton by bus. We had lunch at The Bell Inn in the village where we were able to take our dog.
We did all we wanted to do despite Storm Dennis.
Well done.
Just one thing. A stool in the shower cubicle would be most helpful for us oldies who find it hard balancing on one leg when trying to put on our knickers lol.
