Had an appointment at the medow day centre yesterday and although the nursing staff where great its a shame the the nursing staff in the theater didnt treat a male patient ( them being female ) with dignity and respect . Exposed my goin area without telling what there were doing and just siad it will only take a minute this shouldnt of happenede and i will never use Rivers again . A very disappointmnet nhs pateint.

An underwhelming experience would be an understatement. I'm a firm believer in teamwork & customer service. Unfortunately being let down by a couple of people who work here has ruined my experience entirely, in turn tarnishing the practice as a whole. Nonetheless I would like to say thank you to Sarah who showed genuine care, and tried escalating my case. My first telephone appointment, they called the wrong number. Fair enough, it happens I guess. Second telephone appointment. I had a family emergency and missed it by a few minutes. Called back shortly after, apologised and re-arranged for the following week. Third telephone appointment - No one called me whatsoever. When I inquired as to why. I was advised "The doctor wouldn't say he called you if he didn't. We're now referring you back" (Rude, Dismissive Tone)...... So I lost my appointment, and now have to wait another 5 MONTHS for a new appointment. If a secretary and doctor can blatantly lie, and dismiss patients however they please... What does that say about them, and their ethics? **SCREEN SHOT BELOW** I don't see a missed called on the 09/07/2020. All in all, if you like to waste your time I recommend being referred to Debbie, and Stoner. Shout out to you both, you lovely dismissive, time-wasting pair, you.

Edit: I’ve since been contacted by the hospital and am happy with the treatment I’ve received so far. Waited 30 mins on phone as “next in queue”. Person answered and didn’t seem to care. I explained I needed to have an MRI and see a consultant. She didn’t seem to understand this and put me on hold for a further 70 mins and counting. All this after I already emailed and didn’t hear back. I get you might be busier than usual, but I shouldn’t have to go through this just to make an appointment. Instead of putting me on hold and hoping I go away, why not offer to call me back? Or even ask me to call another time? Might as well just go NHS.
