A lot better than expected. The gym, pool, and spa was lovely. The rooms felt like you were in a comfy cottage. I would Recommend!

The hotel was in a perfect setting, room was lovely, however we had no cold water in our shower so we had to use the bath. The food was poor, cold, over cooked breakfast, barely edible, with limited availability of food, very poor for £30 a couple, would not pay for breakfast again. Dinner was average with slow service, very limited menu for a large hotel. The pool was lovely, big and heated nicely.

Visited for golf break with 9 ladies, hotel was clean and comfortable rooms were very clean and the food was excellent. The golf course was challenging but we all enjoyed it. The staff were very friendly and helpful would definitely recommend fir a visit.

Very poor. Booked lunch but nobody else eating. That should have told us something. We had reserved a table which nobody knew anything about.Tables in the conservatory laid for tea and were told they were all booked from 3pm. It was then 12.45pm. We ended up eating in the garden. Pleasant surroundings but grotty wooden tables and chilly wind when the sun disappeared. We both ordered a steak. The meat was so tough even the knife would not cut it let alone our teeth. We ordered fruit salad and were told it did not come with cream or ice Cream. Having complained about this they eventually produced some cream. The waiter did not come near us otherwise we would have sent the steak back. We complained to the Restaurant Manager who gave us a discount but did not appear to be concerned about our concerns. It is a beautifull building set in beautiful grounds and golf course. Pity about the food and service.

Do not even hesitate booking your wedding here. We had booked ours last year but due to CO-VID 19 we were unable to go ahead. The staff, namely, Vicki from the events team moved heaven and earth to make sure it happened adhering to Government Guidelines of course. Amelia from Reception accommodated all of us and was there throughout for anything we needed. Everything came together within around a week. Ourselves and all our guests stayed at the hotel in the annex which has absolutely stunning rooms for all the guests and the bridal suite is amazing with access to the balcony for warmer weather. We were not able to go ahead with our Reception because of the current rules around social distancing and if we were to ever have one it would take place here without a doubt. The Manor Suite is absolutely stunning with all the right facilities and its own garden where you can take pictures. The breakfast service is amazing with everything being provided. I know a lot of hotels are not providing a hot breakfast at the moment but Manor of Groves go above and beyond to provide this to you outside your doors. We did not get to use the spa as the rules did not permit but we are sure that it would have been just as amazing as the rest of the stay.
