Nice site but very noisy from road and aircraft the road is 24/7due to road works
Lovely and clean and site itself is quiet but sits on a busy road lots of traffic noise
Quiet a bit of road noise depending on where you're pitched, and WiFi extremely weak.
A warm welcome and a lovely site with good facilities which is easy to get to, however it would be wrong not to mention the traffic noise. Not so bad at the weekend but week days it starts around 5am. There is also an ambulance station nearby so lots of sirens . It's also close to an airport so lots of light aircraft flying over, although we quite liked that
I guess if you're looking for a quiet country retreat, forget it, but if you want a convenient stopover, or a base to shop, eat and eat in Cheltenham or Gloucester with the bus going every 15 mins or so to each town from right outside the site, then it's perfectly positioned. I do recommend and will stay again.
Friendly, polite and helpful staff. Flexible and allowed us to change our booking from camping due to heavy October rain. Our motel room and bathroom was immaculate. Well equipped with kettle, tea/coffee and milk, fridge and microwave +TV.
Neat and well-kept site is perfectly placed by stops for frequent number 94 bus service into Cheltenham (or Gloucester in the opposite direction)
