My wife and my one year old came to the old lodge to have lunch, there was a wedding happening in the front garden but still didn't feel too busy. The staff were helpful and friendly. The food was very good and they sold my favourite cider. Will be going again soon.

We love coming back here particularly as it reminds us of our wedding day in 2014. Great location with spectacular views, great food and friendly service!

I visited this country inn on a work trip and was so impressed I decided to go back with my wife and child. The location is great, sitting in a large open common next to a traditional Cotswolds village. The inn itself looks great with stone walls inside and out, with beamed ceilings. The bar is well stocked and has fantastic guest ales. The food was good with a traditional English menu. I was pleasantly surprised with the prices, bed and breakfast costing well less than £100 despite the large room and great location. I would definitely go back here again and it makes a great base for exploring the Cotswolds.
